| Gemini Writer (first model)
| The Gemini is a low cost realtime steno keyboard specifically designed to reduce operator fatigue and discomfort. By dividing the keyboard into two modules, it allows you to hold your hands and arms in a more natural, relaxed position than is possible with traditional steno writers. |

| Review: I bought this machine because, after 19 years of writing, my wrists were getting as tired as the rest of me. I found that the touch didn't suit me. My wrists were being spared, but my joints began to ache. There is no "shock absorber" in the keys like you get with a Stentura. The touch is extremely light. If I lift off a bit, my strokes don't complete. The keys are not adjustable and the machine, itself, is extremely loud. I don't care to hear how fast or slow I am writing. I do love the adjustability of the two pieces. That part IS amazing. I just wish the keys had some meat to them. I am considering a newer model because I know that it is quieter, but I hear the touch is the same, and that means more to me than how noisy the machine is. I don't regret my purchase. I got a deal on it, but I would highly recommend "test driving" one of these before you buy. |
